Welcome!

Welcome to Kelara, an entire planet that is tucked away hidden among the stars. They say the core of the planet seeks knowledge to live so it has surrounded itself with knowledge and knowledge seekers.The main focus of the peoples is the library. The building is gigantic, and spans over the entire planet, going underground. Many scholars live in the library, small residency dormitory and college like institutes among the many shelves of books.The guardian of the planet is said to be the planets child, Kelson. They say he is a ruler of sorts here on Kelara.Kelaras climate is humid, allowing only short plants to grow. Grasses, small greens, and nuts tend to grow well there, which is why salads and trail mixes are basically the 2 things eaten on this planet. Kelson supports any creature who wants to come and help make Kelara a more sustainable planet.

On Kelara, things seem to be split almost by species, or particular types. Such as dragons and fantasy type creatures tend to live underground, and lions exclusively are found within the jungle.Northern Cap - coldest spot of Kelara, snowy here year round, home to most hooved animals, horses and deer common.Library - spanning above and underground, the library is a seemingly endless building of books, universities, and professors available to help.Forest - originally the forest was a reserve used for preserving genetics, now the wolves have taken it back. foxes, bears, and others who prefer wilderness lifestyles usually are found here.Jungle - Rainy, but warm, lion prides rule this land. Unique colors are on their pelts from generations of unique lions washing ashore.Sandlands - those who prefer sand underpaw than wet grass can find their home here. Lions, giraffes, and other warm bodied creatures love this area. Great for a hiking vacation.Ruins - Referred to as the Bounty Ruins, the lands appear to have once housed a humanoid civilization that is long gone. Nature has taken over, and once domestic animals like cats and dogs rule here.Burrows - The Bounty Burrows are a calm, peaceful, greenland area focused on setting the scene for prey-like animals to live in peace. The border is protected by Nominated Military Personelle (NMP) to assure no problematic actions occur.Valleyclan* - Once housing 2 clans of wild cats, now this houses a clan of cats that go by Valleyclan, and a tribe of wild felines. They protect their borders at the cost of their life.Harvestlands - Focused on producing edible foods for those in need, Kelson provides the farmers with anything requested to meet these requirements.

Kelara is a planet with magic. All magic given by Kelara, or originating on Kelara is often refered to as Surge Magic. Therefor, any creature with Surge Magic, is a Surge Beast.

Kelara's History

Kelaran history all begins with the birth of Kelara. Historians say some sort of creature created an egg that hatched and became the living planet known as Kelara. From the pieces of her shell, Kelara made her 4 moons. The residual magic created from her bursting forth from her shell created the 17 known magics in the universe.No one is sure which of the four moons were created first, but the God of Space and Time himself seems to be the most eternal. Bink is the name of the moon, as well as the God who lives there. Bink often appears as a lupine creatures, and historians believe the phrase “binkie” for rabbits comes from the God Bink.The next moon would be Keeper, where the feline known as The Keeper was born. The Keeper resides on the planet, protecting all of the nature with his Survival magic. The Keeper appears as a feline with a long tail. Spotting along his body body glows with the aura of the other magic he can manipulate with his power.After The Keeper, would be Chase. A clever trickster God, Chase uses Totem Magic to protect the jungle and forest region of the planet. He often chooses to appear as a fox-like creature, with the stars glowing on his pelt.The youngest certainly has to be Cosmo. Cosmo is known for his Defensive magic, a God of order and loyalty. When the humans left their domesticated pets, it was Cosmo who gave them order and helped them fend for themselves. Cosmo often appears as a sleek thin smokey purple feline.⍟⍟⍟After the four were created, they decided to ask Kelson for help caring for the other magics of the world. Firstly, the omniscient knowledge they held was driving the Gods insane. Kelson used the omniscient magic to create Omen, the Deity of the Divine, helper to the Gods. Omen is a bat-like creature with opalescent eyes. The creature began to recruit the Harbingers and the Signs, others to help rule the magic.Omen first recruited Galan and Till, the Signs of Sound and Sight. Galan was a story-telling feline who believed that there was magic in the spoken word. Till was one who used words to create elaborate visuals, and it was clear they embodied the magic of Story and the Visual Magic.In the forests of the worlds, Omen recruited Hanabi, Min, and Sap. Hanabi was a creature with elegant horns that bloomed with the seasons. Hanabi became the Harbinger of the Seasons. Omen came across Min after a run in with bad luck. A sprained wing had the god in a sour mood. Its when he came across the hooved creature who gave him healing kindness. Min became the Harbinger of Healing. Sap was the most devoted caretaker of nature Omen had ever seen. He could speak with the trees and the vines and find out where others were in need of help, where animals struggled to survive. Yet Sap understood the idea that nature must take its course. The Sign of Nature took his title with pride. Sap brought along his helpers, creatures he calls Patches (“Birch Patch…”).⍟⍟⍟They say there is a spot in the world where all the different directional winds meet. That is the spot where Kelara formed Haranther. The Harbinger of Wind, and Storms, the god is a perfect example of the strength of the wind and the power that comes in the heights of the mountain peaks.Still and Torrent are two other Harbingers created by Kelara. They say the two felines have sailors feeling completely different. When they see the dark spotted pelt of the Harbinger of Still Waters, they know their trip will be a smooth one. Yet when the sunset fading pelt of the Harbinger of Torrent Water brings turbulent journeys.No one quite knows how Mira became a Harbinger. No one really has any history of who chose her, how she was recruited, or if she was just the first to take ownership of the magic. All anyone knows is Mira is one of the kindest, most patient souls around. She often appears as a thick furred feline with a skull mask.The last time Kelara had poked her head into the godly business was when she dubbed Bayo the Harbinger of Fun. With magics changing all the time, there were folks coming to Kelara to study, and able to craft magical items with their own magical knowledge. Kelara felt no one quite embodied the craftable magic like Bayo did with his love of fun and happiness. She gifted the alien with magic, and he now uses his magic to create unique toys and collectables for every creature.

There are 11 different types of magic, associated with a deity. Those blessed with particular types of magic get their power from the particular deity.

Itheros:
The Itheros are a type of draconic creature that lives in caves underneath the planets surface. Only those with interest in worldly magic come up from their cave worlds to seek others.
Underneath the surface of the planet, stones and crystals holding the planets magic are kept safe from invaders. These creatures protect the magic, and use these crystals and stones to identify which magic is their true calling.
Each Itheros is born from their egg with irridescent/tranlucent horns and spikes, which take on the color of the magic they are drawn to when they discover their magic.
